When I first started this site, I started it with the intentions of showing my love for South Dakota. I had the intentions of pointing out it’s amazing people. I wanted people to see some of the incredible businesses and places in South Dakota. I wanted the world to see, what I see. That South Dakota is an amazing place. And an incredible place to live. And thanks to so many of you, I found out I wasn’t the only one. After my last post, I officially hit over one hundred thousand views thanks to all of you. This to me is a true honor and privilege. And I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
With this website I try to avoid any drama. I try to avoid politics. And I’m not really here to explain to you how the world is going to end. Because I myself, am sick of that rhetoric. But most of all, I’m sick of websites thinking they are helping by spreading half baked information. And something tells me I’m not the only one. I do my best to stay true. To give a little light. And hopefully give people some true information to use. The fact that so many people have read these articles tells me there is a ray of light. And people want to see more of life outside of a negative bubble.
Which is good. Because I am far from through. Expect more articles and interviews with the people of South Dakota. Expect more reviews on more businesses. Expect more information on some great places in South Dakota. And don’t expect me to talk about the usual criteria that other sites try to cram in. In my opinion. You know what political party you like. Why do you need my opinion?
With your continued support, I will keep adding more information and covering more of South Dakota. After all. It is not me that keeps Exciter SD alive. And It’s not even South Dakota. It’s you. And people like you. The incredible people that pushed me over one hundred thousand views. The same people that call South Dakota their home. And may even take a little pride in it.
